The fantastic Homephoto guy Jay A. Rickard, or more popularly known as Light Weaver in the photo world, recently sent us a submission that we think is pretty fuckin hot.
This adorable and dirty guy from Indianapolis, is both talented and imaginative when it comes to his photography, and you can see it in his works. He has been at it for a long time now, carefully honing his skills and developing a style all his own. We also like that he takes some risks with his work, and is not afraid to work outside the norms. He has a long list of people he has worked with, and everyone has nothing but great things to say about him and his work. He also has a great web site that lets you save favourite photos of his work, so you can remember which ones gave you a tingly feeling deep inside.
As soon as we opened the set he sent to us, we knew he had really pulled together something special. It is an amazing set of photos that really fit well with what were all about here at BLEW. The tones and colours are beautiful, and there is a wonderful and surprising connection between the subject and the environment around him in the photos. Altogether, it came together to create a very moving set of work. Check out his blog as well, to keep up with his new works coming out.
